On this episode of Let’s Be Blunt, Montel talks with Maur Stringer & Cynthia Mompoint, a husband and wife team taking the Massachusetts cannabis drink industry by storm. Maur was a victim of the drug wars, arrested at the age of 14, charged and sentenced as an adult. Cunthia is an experienced educator and businesswoman with a masters degree in educational leadership. She recently authored an investigative examination of the structural, conscious and subconscious biases found in the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commissions Equity Program. They are the founders of Shakti Green Lit, a canna energy drink in a shot.

If the state of Massachusetts has legalized CBD products, then we can only be happy for Mauro Stringer and Cynthia Mompoint that they can produce a legal product. Now legal CBD is no longer a rarity, so if you buy ingredients for your products from legal CBD distributors, you don't have to worry about the quality of the product, whether it's an energy drink or chewy candy. Judging by what Mauro has been through, he knows what an illegal cannabis business can lead to. I hope their drink finds its niche among other CBD products.
