Start with a cheap Rubbermaid or equivlant. These are a dime a dozen at super store across America. You need two of them for one cloner. I picked these ones up for $6 a piece at a Family Dollar.

Take a pair of scissors or for best results use a drill bit or hole saw slightly smaller than the size of your netpots. I use 3" netpots, so I cut 12 holes slightly smaller than 3 inches.

Next I spray painted the bottom container black to prevent light from altering our nutrient solution or damaging our roots.

I put a small piece of tape on it before I painted so I could have a small clear area to view my water levels.

Heres a small hole punched in the back of the bottom painted container for our air hose to run through.

We run our air hose through the hole into the tank and connect it to the airstone we have siliconed to the bottom of the tank. The silicone is not a mandatory thing. It only helps the stone stay in place but is not neccasary for operation.

Then we connect the air pump to the other end of the hose and put our netpots in the holes.

The second container we have acts as a humidity dome and if its the same container as the bottom it should fit perfectly over the other like this.

Now your done- These are easy to make and use and the one pictured cost under $25 to make and a total of 20 minutes tops.

Methods vary as far as use but this is how I use it. I fill it up with water ph'd to 5.8 with a very light rooting solution mixed in. I use ROOT 66 from Technaflora. I take my clones from my mother and dip them in rooting gel and then place them directly into the netpots with hydroton. The netpots filled with hydroton sit in the cloner. I fill the cloner water level up so it just covers the bottom 1/4 inch of the netpots. With the air pump on the water/nutes become an oxygen enriched bath that the hydroton wicks up to the young clones. The humidity dome keeps the RH up to 100% so making some small holes in the dome may be neccasary. Cuttings take root in roughly 7-21 days in which I usually remove the dome and let them toughen up for a few days before moving them into my veg room.
