Kuipers Bills Dead?

Recommended Posts

Check this out. Kuipers is also a sponsor on the bill to amend the controlled substances act, which among other things, includes salvia as a sch. 1.

http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2009-2010/billintroduced/Senate/htm/2009-SIB-0570.htm

In the original version of this bill, there was a provision to allow "marihuana" to be reclassified as Class 2 and dispensed by pharmacies.......in accordance with the other two Kuipers MJ bills.....but that provision has been lined out in the current version.

Is this a pretty good indication that SB 616 and SB 617 are dead?
