1 Week Card Received Yesterday

Yesterday I received one of my caregiver cards from the state.

 

Check was cashed: 2-10-10

 

Card was issued: 2-24-10 (not received)

 

Letter accompanying card printed: 5-18-10

 

Card received: 6-24-10

 

Card expires: 7-1-10

 

 

 

They just mailed me a card that's good for one week!

 

 

Caregivers should know that if you sign a patient that has 6 months or less on the card, then you may get a one week card too!

Since it takes 4 months to get the stinking card!

Also, I don't know what you mean when you say a 6 month card? All cards are to be issued for 1 year.

 

This is clearly a mistake. The patient needs to call down and let them know of the issue.

The patient had already had a card for 6 months before he signed with me. His card is a one year card.

 

 

But yes a phone call is being made this morning.

They are getting pretty bad with their mistakes.

 

Making quite a few causing them to have to re mail and re issue.

 

They need to slow down, hire more people and take their time doing it so they don't make these mistakes!

Ahh to say the least. That's what is so frustrating, "They are really messing with peoples lives!" and don't seem to care one bit. Last night I was really pissed when I looked at the card and all the dates posted above.

 

I can't believe that there is no professionalism in that department.

LOL you should beable to belive it they are government employees thats all they do is make mistakes all forms of government agencies prove this every day well hope all gets better maybe we need to get some people in the seats that have cards so they will care what happens.

I have the same issue coming my way I am sure.

My patient is up for renewal in 2 mths.

He appointed me his CG about 2 mths ago as his old one

SCREWED him!

I know I will likely end up getting an expired card in the mail haha or a week card

like you did.

I'm sure you will too. I just wanted everyone to know so they can plan for this type of screw up.
