Need Some Help With Electrical And Venting

Alright guys, I have a house in se michigan that was built a long time ago. No not 1950s but 1850s. The house wiring roofing and windows have all been upgraded. I have a smaller room dedicated to growing and have to find a way to start venting the room and keeping the smell down. I think that I can run a vent up to the attic fairly easily but being on a lot of other meds, I don't think I should be trying this alone. Need to find a cost effective solution. Room is already started so I would like to find someone who is local and understanding of the new laws. Thats why I came here. Please let me know if anyone would be able to help.

Where is the room located in the house? Basement? Attic? Other? Are there windows in the grow room? Im glad to help in any construction, unfortunately im up north right now. Give me a few more details on the room layout and i'll help where i can PEACE
