On Monday, September 13, the Prop 19 campaign is launching a "money bomb" -- a single day when our supporters all across the nation contribute to our campaign.

 

Our money bomb will show that we have broad, grassroots support, and that we have the resources we need to win. It will also increase news coverage of our campaign, encouraging even more people to get involved and giving us valuable momentum heading into the home stretch. This couldn't be more important and timely, and we need all the help we can get.

Why $50,000? On September 13, the election will be only 50 days away. By raising $1,000 for each day left, we can ensure we have the resources to win.

 

And we must win. This year, we have a historic opportunity to end our failed policy of cannabis prohibition. We can enable law enforcement to focus on real problems, and end the senseless arrests of thousands of non-violent cannabis consumers.

 

The status quo is unacceptable. Prohibition only cultivates a black market and encourages violence. With Prop 19, we can strike a blow against the cartels, which have been running wild in both Mexico and our own country.
