Small Victories Add Up

All to often and always has been that the large victories get the attention ,as well they should. however even small victories added up make a large impact.

Here in Branch County we have a case of a patient being busted last year, arrested a year later and is now going through the courts. He has a private attorney. When I first me his Attorney he had no idea of the AD so I presented him with that portion of the law. He presented it to the judge and had the pre trial that day set aside and the court date postponed. Pretty cool. Then I hear today and wrote for my site the following.

 

 

"Attorney for one of our patients facing manufacturing and distribution charges has filed filed an assertion of affirmative defense and motion to dismiss based on the Medical Marijuana Act. The patient was arrested last year in an illegal raid at his home. The hearing is set for tomorrow at 1:30 PM in the Branch County Circuit Court."
