Law should require proof that all other means of pain management have been tried & failed, & only board-certified pain management specialists should be allowed to certify people!

Maybe, someday, her back/neck will go south. Or anything else that involves pain and suffering. And then, maybe, the light bulb will turn on.

 

There are card holders who got the card to legalize their grow, or who exaggerate the level of pain they are at. It does happen. Addicts will lie to continue their use.

 

However, for the vast majority of us, we have something wrong, that most people wouldn't want wrong with them, and Medical Marijuana lessens the pain.

 

15 states are now allowing Medical Marijuana. She needs to be educated in why Marihuana was demonized, and made illegal. Was all about greed from the lumber barons, paper companies, and alcohol companies. Hemp would have replaced, or help replace, the huge demand for wood. Alcohol companies didn't want the competition. In recent news, the California Beverage Assoc. was one of the largest contributors against total legalization in Cali.....as well as some pharmacutical interests. Wake up. Not about what is right for the Patient. Follow the money.

 

When vaped, it is nowhere anywhere near being as harmful as alcohol, tobacco, or pills. College textbooks need to be updated for these counselors.

 

We need to hold our ground, and our cool. We need to educate the educated, because they were given, what is now, outdated information.
