Are There Any Interactions Between Mm And Pharmaceuticals ?

Neither my primary doctor nor the specialists are open to even discussing the use of MM for me. I've tried. If I tell them I use MM there is a good chance I will have to find a new doctor. This puts me in the uncomfortable position of not being completely open with my doctor.

If one of the doctors on the forum could respond to this I would appreciate it. Does the use of MM call for an adjustment in the dosage of any other drugs? I have already eliminated other nausea medications and reduced my need for pain killers and anxiety medications. Does MM have any effect on SSRI dosage? Is this something a cardiologist in an ER should know about? I primarily use a vaporizer. Any insight as to what a doctor needs to know would be helpful. Thank You

Marvin,

If that is the case they are unwilling to discuss it, and you have sufficient reason to smoke, one of the reasons on the list. and yet they still want you to keep taking pain meds vs trying MM then go about it a different way.

I was to afraid of losing my Doctor for fear of not having anywhere else to turn. soooooo I just took my medical records showing that I have such and such disabilities over the length of my lifetime to MM certification doctor. My reg ole DR. didn't even have to know. by the way its 3months of records showing you have a certain ailment, someone correct me if I'm wrong please...

Once I got my cert. and began smoking I then realized that I didn't need pain meds , and brought it up to my doctor that I had been using MM and then showed her my card.

Edit: I was embarrsed that I had lied to her in a way, and didn't have the balls to talk to her for a minute... then she and I came to the realization that its best for me to continue MM, vs further damage to me mentally(daily stress of not having a doctor) and physically(poor kidneys) good luck..

With a consistent supply of high grade marijuana, I don't NEED the pain pills.

I am in a tricky situation with our pain management physician as well. The physician knows why I got my "chart notes" the last couple of years. And, has to see that I am requesting less pills and not getting others even filled.

I hope that within a couple of months I can be completely honest with this physician as well. I'm not being asked any questions - so I'm not lying about anything.

I simply want to be off of all prescription medication by the end of this year because it truly isn't needed as long as I have a consistent supply of medical marijuana that I can vaporize, make edibles with, oils, (Peanutbutter's is like a miracle ointment for my wife and I)

Gotta run. I could talk about this thread forever.

The way I brought up my request for my medical records, in stealth mode was I said I needed records for Social Security, They never questioned it.

I had to come clean after I stopped taking all my meds, not one pill, patch and for a short time I wasn't even using my cane just cannabis alone lots of it.. I felt it was only right that I shared with her the positive results I was having from JUST cannabis, we discussed it she even wrote a letter to the judge stating the benefits it has had on the "quality of life" and "debilitating conditions" that it has had for me. (those were her words, in the letter)

Good luck to you I know that cannabis works better than pain pills and pharmaceuticals first hand.
