Which Search Engine To Use?

Being a bit older now and still being a Newbie is always a humbling thing. But the search for security out weighes all, and being relatively new with medical sites, are there certain search engines, utility programs, ext.. that will help me protect myself from unwanted personal information getting removed from my computer? Also if I have asked this in the wrong forum , please let me know. If its better covered in a personal note, then please send one along if you so desire. This search engine does not keep ip addresses, unlike the rest.

Thanks so much for your quick responce. My computer is a bit older but I do have spyware and virus blockers installed. they have caught many buggs trying to get in. I will give them a look. Many thanks, BreezeMan
