+EdwardGlen
Over compensating for their short comings Oakland County S.W.A.T. will be giving a display of their murderous capabilities. mmm...wonder what they're training for? http://www.theoaklandpress.com/articles/2011/07/20/news/cops_and_courts/doc4e26c27f8dcfd885353875.txt The Oakland County Sheriff's Office wants the public to know that police activity taking place in Birmingham today is only a training exercise and not a real emergency. The training begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, and will continue through 4 p.m. at the site of the former Barclay Inn at Maple and Woodward. Assaults from the roof, simulated gun battles and other police activities will be taking place. The training is for the Oakland County Sheriff's SWAT team. "Passersby and other traffic should be aware that these are training exercises only," states a press release from the Sheriff's Office.
