Clarification Of The Law

I live in a very small apartment and have no room to grow but my mother lives in a 4 bedroom house by herself and said I could use one of her rooms there as a grow room. As long as I have locks and am the only person with axcess to the room is it legal for me to grow there? Thank you and any information will be helpful.

My understanding is that when you send in your information for your card to the state put her down as a care giver double check this

Exactly what I read into it. She has to be listed as a caregiver because the plants will be in her house, i.e. possession. You can't lock the door of one of her rooms in the house as if anything ever happened, God forbid, a light shorts out, fire, what ever, she would need access to that room and would need a key. Also, this way, you can maybe get her to water them for you. lol
