Severe Shortage In Israel

I suppose someone might say it makes us violent. Not the pain, anxiety or loss of bodily functions. Of all the problems over there, this should not be one of them.

A shortage in medical marijuana produced by legally licensed growers has caused the drug to be dispensed to cancer patients only, not chronic pain sufferers and others who had been allotted it previously.

 

Doctors said that patients had insinuated threats and even come right out and physically threatened them, when unable to receive marijuana under these restricted guidelines.

 

The last two years have seen a tripling in the number of those legally entitled to use marijuana from 1,000 to 3,000 patients. The growers of legal marijuana have been asked to increase their yield, but shortages are expected at least for May and June."
