We came together in a town hall format today. Those in power love to see us divided,there is money in division. Lets not give them satisfaction when our clubs are at battle with each other,we have the same dog in the fight folks,we are the voice. When one of the clubs has an event lets reach out and support each other,if you hear someone bashing another club stop the talk in its track and encourage unity,we have SO much to offer our communities. Let love and compassion be our message and we can accomplish much.

Our movement is much to important than to leave the decisions to a few well meaning activist's.We must come together and agree on what we are willing to join hands and defend. BCCC's view of the Medical Marijuana Bill of Rights.

Power is in the people,we have successfully divided the movement into groups of sub-groups,we have got to come together. We need all the PEOPLE to tell leadership what we want and need,what is it that is important to each and everyone of us. We need to hold those in leadership accountable. any event that is going on within the state of MI we need to ask how is this helping or hurting the cause? Is it good for the patient? We are our brother's keeper,we are people taking care of each other,it takes all of us to be successful,not a director,not the leader of the MMMA but it begins with each one of us. These next points were voted on unanimously:

 

1. Proposition I is sacred. Not one Jot or Title is to be changed, without the vote of the people.

 

2. The Caregiver/Patient Relationship is sacred.

 

3. No Group shall claim to represent the people without a vote being taken and validated.

 

4. All forms of transfers that facilitate the treatment of MMJ patients are legal and will be defended by the community.

 

5. Obtaining of all forms of genetics within the MMJ community to be legal.

 

6. Cannot be arrested as long as your within guidelines of the law.

 

7. Michigan first proposal: Keeping the money in MI,we will not allow a hostile takeover of our compassion clubs,by those that are coming from out of state with big money,we are the force behind the cause.

 

8. All compassion clubs work for the good of the community,unity for the people.

 

9.Develop standardized programming,organizational plans and kits to facilitate new compassion clubs.(not required but optional)

 

10. Patient/Caregiver contract (optional)

I think it is important for all the clubs to be a collective soul,and by establishing these bill of rights and holding everyone accountable,is a huge factor.
