GW Pharmaceuticals (GWP.L) & (GWPRF.PK) in England is licensed by the UK Home Office to investigate and experiment with many controlled substances. They are responsible for developing Sativex ® Oromucosal Spray and developing the Advanced Dispensing System (ADS). As the UK and Canada share similar viewpoints regarding the benefits of medicinal cannabis, it is not uncommon for these groups to work in conjunction with each other. In fact the space-age inhalers which have helped to make Nektar famous are the very ones used by Solvay for dispensation of their Dronabinol which is the active ingredient used in Marinol®.

 

Naturally the Netherlands is represented, as Omega Pharma NV (a/k/a Laboratoire Delta Pharm) (OMEP.BR) allows you to invest in the dispensation of Dutch medical cannabis.

 

Finally, space has been designated for a major staple of the hemp industry: clothing and textiles. Nicely written article, but all the corporates actually have is a synthetic but really not so closely related to cannabis along with a mostly hollow sales pitch. A few may benefit from it, but unless their product is exact to cannabis down to the atomic level, it would be 100% impossible for it to contain anything close to the more complete healing properties of any high quality organic medical cannabis.

 

We all know what works. Go natural as much as possible and stay natural.

You are right, my friend. Don't some of these chemists have to actually grow the real stuff in order to extract some of what they need? Maybe they just get it from the DEA or grow it on their own, regardless.

It's my understanding that Sativex is not a synthetic cannabinoid, but in fact a natural extract from the cannabis plant.

Yep they'll make money off of cannabis either by trading it as a commodity and or by putting us in jail.
