20 Day Wait

I know about the 20 day wait, but i was wondering if that was business days or weekends to?

Go with your gut... lol. Nowhere does it specify. Im waiting for my 20 days to be up and im counting weekends. If it was supposed to be business days they would/should have said 20 business days.

It is 20 days... and the COA used calendar days in one of it's latest opinions.

 

Anyways here is what the law says...

 

(b) If the department fails to issue a valid registry identification card in response to a valid application or renewal submitted pursuant to this act within 20 days of its submission, the registry identification card shall be deemed granted, and a copy of the registry identification application or renewal shall be deemed a valid registry identification card.

If no denial letter is received by day 20, you are considered legal on day 21. Thats what it says in the law somewhere, and, when I got my rec, the Dr.'s assistant told me that this is how it works. Peace!

The Doc told me to count 28 days from the day I sent my paperwork in, because the state is so backlogged... But imma say 21 days is good to go... so October 10th, which is also my daughters 3rd Birthday!!! AWESOME.....
