So I work at Martin's for those of you who actually know what it is. I have recently found out that it isn't a nationwide store like I thought it was. We have I think 20 or 21 stores. Anyways, as an employee I am required to tell them about any medications and medical conditions. I went to the office when I found this out and told my employer I am a Michigan Medical Marijuana patient, she was shocked. She made some phone calls and got back with me. I am not allowed to be medicated at work (obviously, I work in the deli around deep fryers) but they are completely ok with it. Also the store I work at is in INDIANA! I just know Indiana is notorious for their no tolerance drug laws and whatnot so I was a bit surprised. The point is Martins is A OK!

hey, good for you. seems like they are stand up employers.

is that in the company policy as such, or do they plan to amend it if it is not covered?

They didn't really go over that with me so I'm not sure. They are very on top of things though so it wouldn't surprise me if it is company policy.
