does anyone know the exact meaning of under the influence, is it thc in the system that only last 4 to 6 hours or the metabolites in the urine that means absoloutly nothing, an idea sold to employers and the feds by drug testing companys just for big profits, we need to educate the people that are paying for these drug test about the truth that they are loosing good people and throwing money away, if they think they have a problem with an employee smoking pot all they need to do is swab there mouth with a 5 dollar test they will know the truth in 5 seconds not 2 weeks educate educate.

The Michigan Supreme Court just did away with the metabolites stuff.

 

Now it's only THC itself.

 

There has yet to be a set level amount of THC.

 

The most conservative answer would be that even one molecule of THC would be "under the influence." This is because of the old "zero tolerance" law.

 

Metabolites used to be considered a part of this z-tol stuff. That started in 2005 and ended in 2010.

 

Most of us believe that z-tol was modified by the mmj law. To exactly what no one knows.
