False Confessions

I watched the some of the video trailers to this. Many people outside of the criminal justice system do not understand how in the world a person would ever give a false confession. Another interesting factor to consider when watching this, (another problem with the system of justice) is that all of those "innocent project" cases (Barry Scheck) wherein the accused is cleared by dna, involved an eye witness coming into court and telling the jury that the person sitting at the defense table was the person that committed the crime. Then after a stint in prison the accused is cleared by dna.
