Cops Under The Influence With Guns

Recommended Posts

Sounds like some punk cop got his arse beat and didn't like it! So what's a drunk off duty cop to do? Crank off a few live rounds in a public parking lot of course. (Wonder if they'll drug test him)

An off-duty police officer from the Village of Oakley in Saginaw County is facing charges after Waterford police say he recently fired a gun outside the Crescent Lake Inn in Waterford Township.

Waterford Police Chief Daniel McCaw said the investigation indicates there was a verbal altercation inside the facility among patrons.

When the officer was escorted out, “there were shots fired in the parking lot by this man,” McCaw said.

“I expect charges to be filed. We’ll submit our reports to the (Oakland County) prosecutor.”

The incident happened about 1:18 a.m. Nov. 25.

The man who fired the handgun was transported to POH Regional Medical Center and released with minor injuries sustained during the ensuing scuffle.

McCaw said no patrons were struck by bullets. The man lives in Ortonville, he added.

McCaw said he was not aware of results of any alcohol testing.

He said more than two shots were fired. Witnesses said four shell casings were found.

He said other off-duty police from other jurisdictions were at the bar at the time of the altercation.

“They tried to resolve the disagreement,” he said.

Police officers should have to undergo psychological testing like many other professionals are required to do before being employed, handed a gun and told to go enforce the law.

But maybe it's true.. 'ya get what ya pay for'.

Inappropriate discharge of a weapon by a law officer is a big deal. They should have bi monthly psychological testing to re-certify their fitness to carry a weapon around. Officer Fife has nothing on these assclowns, maybe we just oughtta make them carry their ammo in their shirtpockets, LOL!

Back in the early 80's I used to frequent a bar at eleven mile and Van Dyke "The Pour House" was a hang out for off duty Warren PD who had aggressive disorders and were involved with more than half the fights at that bar.

Not one cop ever went to jail of course but you best believe if he got his arse kicked the guy who did it did go to jail and paid for it in that elevator ride at Warren PD Station. (anyone had that ride besides me I'm talking about)

I remember the one cop as if it happened yesterday but I don't think I can legally mention his name here starts with a B ends with a I. He worked the south end and had a reputation for abusing prisoners after they were handcuffed and even struck a ten year old boy with his five cell.

Its very disconcerting the number of American combat veterans who are becoming LEO's. I have nothing but praise and I honor all our service members but I do not want a LEO to snap and have a PTSD event and start throwing rounds down range and he's in a school playground instead of Fallujah neighborhood where his hallucination has taken him.

I pray no one in the community ever has to experience the physical violence of a police raid because its as close to a near death experience you'll ever want to get. When you are thrown onto the floor and the guy holding a 12 gauge shotgun to your head is shaking more than you, you're very close to death. Been there!
