Protesters in front of the City/County Building picket against the continuing court case against Donald Alan Michalski for possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house. Michalski, who has a medical marijuana card issued by the State of Michigan, is alleged to not have had his legal marijuana in a locked area, allowing others access. Michalski faces up to 26 years in prison if convicted.

 

Isn't a house a locked area?

I think they are meaning no access to anyone but the caregiver. The house may be locked, but unauthorized people who live in the house would still have access. Not the ideal situation.

So maybe locked and secure means a bank vault? Wouldn't want my money secured any other way. Think the overhead is high now? This may redefine what being secure in one's own home is. Can I be secure and my plants not? Plants haven't been granted individual rights by the U.S. Supreme court the way corporations have.
