yeah just build your own, the important thing is getting a motherboard that accepts upgrades for the future. AMD is where it's at for performance at a low cost, intel's just better except the cost. You can buy a 6 core amd processor for under 200 bucks from AMD and AMD might use the same socket for their future processors where Intel never does...
