If you are a Seagram's heir, a former wall street banker, or the owner of Oaksterdam and dispensaries, you don't look to net $58,000 annually as a caregiver growing out of a house, you look for an opportunity that returns $58 million yearly. That means producing 23 pounds of premo weed per day and for that, you need to spend $80--300,000 on plans to pant thousands of sq. ft. When it takes a dump, you scurry to the next opportunity--aha! It's in New Mexico, or AZ, get a state permit and disappear from CA--way too full of DEA anyway. For the DEA, CA is Weed Central, the whole state, not just the Golden Triangle, and these rich guys just went West to Oakland, CA to get in on the new Gold Rush on a commercial scale.
