LANSING -- Former state Sen. Phillip Arthurhultz was charged today with sex crimes involving children.

The charges are the result of an investigation by the Lansing Police Department and the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.

The defendant was given a $150,000 bond, with a GPS tether. The bond had not been posted as of this afternoon.

Republican ideology is that the strong shall take that which they want, and that the weak shall suffer unto them.

Given his advanced years perhaps Molester Arthurhultz may wish to avoid being the "weak" party in the slammer, and should quickly consider utilizing the most honorable method that the ancient Senator Brutus used to avoid shaming and disgracing his family and countrymen....

Why is it that it seems the Republicans and other Social Conservatives are into such criminal and dangerous sex acts?

Something to be said about those folks that doth protest too much on sexual/societal issues.

Sounds like a cry for help....
