Eric Holder: Easy On Porn, Tough On Pot !

"To the list of social issues such as abortion once thought to be off the 2011 political agenda and now making a comeback, add a hot-button one from the days of Reagan-era Attorney General Ed Meese — pornography.

 

The catalyst for a renewed fight over pornography is a recent, little-noticed move by Attorney General Eric Holder to shutter the Obscenity Prosecution Task Force, a special Justice Department unit set up during the Bush administration under pressure from conservatives upset about the proliferation of obscene material on the Internet.

 

Critics say the decision reflects a lack of interest in prosecuting such cases. The dissolution of the task force has touched off an angry reaction in Congress as well as from conservative activists pressing for a crackdown on hard-core adult pornography, and threatens to embroil Holder and the Obama administration in another culture-war confrontation........".

The social conservatives are holding Holder's feet to the fire on this issue....He could win Obama a lot of support if he went after Porn and gave a wink to Pot....but it ain't going to happen !!

LOL I used to make good money with internet porn. had to maintain records of models photos and videos I purchased. Don't do it anymore the wife kinda got tired of it plus everyone and their brother started doing it. Once cannabis is lowered to a schedule 3 things will move fast on legalization and/or decriminalization.

Very interesting. I would not ever be interested in "making money" with porn...but I am curious as to what you actually did to make money..like did you sell it or film it or what ?

 

I am not surprised your wife had a problem with it....My wife would send me packing in a jiffy if I tried that..after she had rendered me a Casrato with a high pitched voice !!!

LOL funny,, I actually was doing it before I met her, and she was OK with it then. the longer we were together the more she did not like it so much. Mostly because it became difficult to make money. I was actually an affiliate for other companies that created the films and pics. they had the fun part LOL kinda like the banner you see for Attitude seedbank I submitted movie and pic galleries to porn site lists that list tons of gallerys on one site. These companies that I was affiliated with would give me a percentage for making sales. Back in 98 it was easy money bringing in 1000's a month I also got lucky and was working with a male organ enlargement company that worked on a 2 tier program meaning when someone signed under me I got a percentage of his sales. So for a couple years this guy was making me up to 1600.00 a month and I did nothing but get a check in the mail once a month. Oh the good ole days LOL I do miss it not just for the porn but it was fun creating webpages and stuff, checking stats all day. There are several big companies in Detroit that I was making some sales for Tough biz right now though
