Mocc Been Challenged To A Softball Tournment

Recommended Posts

Hi you all, Just wanted to make sure if any able body MOCC members are interested in playing some softball for us please email me at proplayer420@GMAIL.COM.

here is the info on the game. If anybody belongs to any of these clubs and are able to play get in touch with them if you would like to play. If not playing then just come out to bele isle for some summer time relaxtion.

One club can have one guest who's not a member play for them. So even if you don't belong check to see if any clubs need any extra players. thanks

Here is the info... Lots of stuff coming up this month and next . Great social events for us patients who don't get a chance to get out much and socialize with our own kind ;).

This is the info I have so far for the Summer Social and Softball Tournament.

Date: July 16th, 2011

Time: 11-7pm

Place: Belle Isle Detroit, Mi

Last year the DCCC hosted the summer social so we could all get to know each other better. We accomplished that mission way beyond our wildest dreams and over the past year we have created some very good friends and strong allies with all of you.

This year we are going to gather at a central location, just as Beautiful and Social but definitely more competitive! This event will not be open to the public and is 100% free to the MM community. Each person will be responsible to bring their own everything, like a tailgate or picnic. There will be snacks and drinks available to purchase.

Each club is allowed to bring their 10 x10 size tents only and it’s completely up to you what you use them for. You can bring info and swag or just use them for shade. There will be a raffle, prizes and of course the Trophy which the DCCC has had the pleasure of Holding for the past year from last years games.

The Softball Tournament will be comprised of 4 teams.

The BACC, MOCC, DCCC, BICC/Cannabis Council

The games will begin at 11:30 am.

Each team will draw to decide who they will play.

Both pairs of teams will play side by side at the same time.

The two winning teams will then compete for the Win/Trophy.

Each Team will need 6 men and 4 women to play Ball.

You will receive the official Game Rules along with the poster.

Each team will be responsible for bring their own equipment, so make sure to pull form your volunteers/members.

Each team must comprise of its own members with the exception that each team will be allowed one guest player to play for them.

Each Team must provide a roster of their players three days prior to game, July 13th, 2011.

Each team will be required to wear their Clubs T-shirts as part of their uniform.

We are currently working on sponsors for the BB caps.

There are lots of fun things to do on Belle Isle so bring your kids, family and friends along with you because you’re going to have great time! http://www.fobi.org/attractions.htm

I will have the event poster and file for you next week, If you have any questions please let me know. Have a great weekend!
