Sulfur Burners N/a In Michigan?

I called my hydro store today to see if they had any sulfur burners and sulfur in stock. They told me that they were no longer legal in Michigan, and that they had to pull them all off the shelves sometime in the last year. Does anyone know anything about this?

I bought sulfur about one month ago from the Cultivation Station in Allen Park. I made my own burner but Beste's in Warren had them in stock at the same time. They just happened to be out of sulfur. I didn't check at CS if they had a burner as I already had the parts to make my own.

You need to call a local nursery/greenhouse... they can tell you where to get one..

Hydro guy - as far as I know- Is lying to make you buy what HE sells... burners aren't popular- so he couldn't make as much off those as he can sprays....

I spoke to another hydro store in a neighboring city, and it seems that the fire marshal in Ferndale is total jerk. He won't allow a long laundry list of things to be stocked (sulfur, potential oxidizers, etc.) because he feels they are a fire hazard. Bummer for them.

anyone ever done a diy sulfer burner using a can light with a 100 watt green flood light ,and beer can.look up diy sulfer burner on the net

Instead of a flood light use one of those ceramic mushroom thingys.

 

 

 

Yep. A heat lamp. You can get them at the pet supply store. Used for reptiles. They work great for burning sulfur.
