Profile Pics

I was wondering, what pics would work. none of the pics on my computer are the right size this must be a problem for many or do most people not want to put a pic on their profile? do I have to take a picture with a cheap camera so there are less mega-pixals?

profile pics are pretty small. dont recall exact size, but its not over 144x144 if that...

you dont really need to upload it here to the site before it can be used. i uploaded my profile pic directly from my C drive, but the size must be correct before it will work. Mine was already sized for an avatar.
