Tonight- Medical marijuana bills 4271 and 5104 pertaining to distribution centers and marijuana edibles and concentrates, passed the MI House of Representatives today by a huge margin, sending the bills to the Senate with some momentum. Some amendments were made to both bills, just prior to passage. What did it take to get these bills passed with such heavy support, and how do they look movng over to the Senate for consideration?

 

Robin Schneider ,the Legislative Chairwoman for the National Patients Rights Association, the organization working directly with a lobbyist in the MI legislature on behalf of the patient friendly bills 4271 and 5104 will join us along with Representative Michael Callton who introduced HB 4271 The Provisioning Centers Act, as well as Chris Lindsey who is Michigan's liaison from the Marijuana Policy Project.

 

MI chapter of The Human Solution chapter will offer a report of upcoming court dates involving defendants in need of support.
