According to a January 2022 article in Rolling Stone Magazine, the US has pulled ahead as the one of the most valuable cannabis markets in the world, with the latest projections that it will be worth over 90 BILLION by 2026. However, female leadership in the industry has declined to record lows. On this episode of Let’s be Blunt, Montel talks with Annick Goldsmith, founder of the Black Market Group. Annick is no stranger to male dominated industries, and she is using her voice to create space for those who have been marginalized and is speaking up about the disparities she’s faced in the cannabis industry.
