Where to find a doctor in west Michigan

I am trying to find a doctor in the grand rapids area that will help me I have cancer and My PCP will not even discuss the option with me. Please help.

Mid-Michigan CC has a clinic opening in Grand Rapids starting on Monday April 5th, and Tuesday April 6th. These two days will be run every week at 678 Front Ave. NW Suite 120 which is located on the corner of 6th st and Front Ave. Please call 989-690-2222 for appointment dates and times. The only thing you should need is a copy of your medical records. Typically you would need the records from like the last several visits to your PCP. Call the number and they will let you know what all is required o bring in for an appointment.

As a cancer patient you must see several specialist, try asking each of them, you might just find one who has compassion. It could save you the huge fees charged by the marijuana doctors. Be up front with them, tell them that you are using marijuana to combat (insert symptom here) and how much better it makes your life. Tell them you are worried about being arrested and ask if they could help relieve those fears by filling out the state forms

I dont see the specialist team till next week the cancer thing has just started within the the last three weeks But I was planning on trying that also I just wanted a second option in case I was told no. Thanks for the quick response

If your a senior citizen you have to pay the Dr. $20 instead of $200 and $25 for your patient card. Rejoice!

Bring your ID and some of your file copies of your last three or four visits and $200 bucks

Give them a call and they'll let ya know what ya need and get ya in asap. Wait time is like a week once ya mail/fax them your doctor notes.

So I went to the cancer specialist and they did not seem real receptive to MM. I then talked to the social worker that was assigned to my case and she was so uneducated it was scary she said that if i was given a card that i would only be able to medicate in a pill form. I am going to go to the clinic on Monday this week I have my medical records from my pcp but it does not have very much information on my cancer because it has all happened so fast that most of that info is at the specialist center. I do have a copy of my pathology report and I was wondering if I need to get more information from the specialist before I go? Does anyone have any ideas? I have to start chemo in 2 weeks and then I will be having radiation treatments after that.

well I probably goimg to drive you good folks nuts but I need HELP! I've been laid up for the past year with a blown out back I'm from Battle Creek and a few weeks ago I went to a meeting at BC Hydro when dr. Dave from Kalamazoo was there and after showing him my medical records he said that I qualify. But having been laid up for the past year the funds to get up and running just ain't there. What I do have is a 1999 27foot trvle trailer that has like 300 miles on the rolling gear and the inside is cherry if there is some one out there that would help a brother out by taking the title for colatoral to get set up it would be a blessing! please hit me up at hedquist111@yahoo.com THANKS!

I went to my appointment yesterday and the doctor approved my application I mailed it today and now I am waiting for the state.
