Get Organized

 

1) We need a CC network for ALL groups with contact info so we can share info freely.

And a person to head it up. ( I think we may have the person for this job).

 

2) We need several sets of eyes and ears in Lansing along with a spot just for Lansing news. And a person to head it up.

 

3) We need a way to contact people who do not use a computer. Phone tree? And a person to head it up.

 

4) Everyone needs to keep a eye on their local events ie: court dates, city and township rulings, ect. And a spot to post all this for the whole state to see.

 

5) MI NORML has a program to track MM friendly candidates for public office. We all need to help with this and share the information.

 

6) We really need people to step forward and take a active role in our movement.

A well informed 'MMJ community' is the BEST way to defend our 'law' and to mobilize that community when the rights of that 'community' are threatened by an attempted change in the 'law' OR the 'rules' that define the 'way' the law is carried out.

 

If the communication of MMJ law related information can be accessed by 'BOTH' INDIVIDUALS AND CCs, mobilization of participants for involvement in local / State ordinance issues as well as court / trial attendance could be greatly increased.

 

This same 'mobilization of the community' could be used to have 'turn out' for those times when 'positive changes' need support also.

 

A centralized point for the collection of information and access for use and participation by the 'community' would definitely get whatever support I could provide.

 

The more we know the more we can do.

Papers are fine for some things but we need a rapid contact set up for fast response. Get phone #'s, cb handles, ham raido names. Every one has some form of quick contact. Hell use a smoke signal if we need to.
