Med Records

With the perscription drug problems that M.I is having all the family doctors that we have been dealing with will not give out anyone records. I have been hitting road block after road block with chart notes, I have multiple friends that I am trying to help and all of them are having trouble getting anything from their family doc for records. If anyone has any input as to what to do in this situation I would love to hear. I have been told that you are able to get records and they cant keep them from you, but my attorney said that this is a loop situation. So if anyone can let me know how to get their records without an attorney or doctor, " being as we need to bring them", I am sure many people have gone through this.

They are your records all you have to do is insist they fax them if they refuse ask to see the supervisor of records for your clinic thats what i did last year after they pulled a similar stunt on me .

They have no right to hold your records....

 

Print out the form by CO and send it certified like he said.

 

If they dont send them threaten to sue them and report them to the state
