Alcohol Vs. Mj

Does anyone have an recent or past reports on why the govt continues to keep alcohol legal and MJ illegal? I've always wanted to hear a legal professionals or a political figures opinion/reasoning on WHY alcohol is perceived as SAFE and MJ unsafe. Thanks for all replies!

I don't think you could find a legal professional or political figure who COULD make the argument, with a straight face anyway, that alcohol is safe and marijuana is not. Or anyone else, for that matter.

alcohol is easier to tax, as less people would make their own liquor compared to the amount of people who would grow their own marijuana. Its all about the money for the big G
