greenbuddha
Even Utah... yes... Utah... is starting to wonder about the benefits of 'legalizing cannabis'. http://cannabisnews.com/news/25/thread25743.shtml
peanutbutter
hehe .. I've been wondering if any other state just might beat CA to the punch. Any other states want to be first instead of CA ?? Step right up and be the first through the door to freedom!
Bisharoo
Well, that's not quite as strange as it sounds. If a person really believes that you should have your own free will in personal matters, as Mormons espouse to be one of God's highest laws, then it should be an easy sell. Hypocritical one would be to go against one's own beliefs for political expediency. Also, their own scriptures state plainly that "all herbs were made for the good of man, to strengthen the body and enliven the spirit". FYI, there are members of that church who use MMJ. It is no contradiction at all, as their stance is medical matters are between a patient and their doctor.

greenbuddha
LEGALIZE IT!!! The only differences between religions are the Holy Books that each of them use to beat the others over the head with... no matter the religion or the beliefs. The 'Absolute' shows no preference. But the 'worship' of the 'Absolute' should be up to the individual and it should include the use of the 'sacrament' that brings that individual to a better understanding. And those 'sacraments' should include 'cannabis'... just as it was used 'originally'.
