With the State overseeing the running of the 'dispensary' the LEO's may have to find something else to do in Maine... FAR too legal to be 'busted' if the government is getting their share.

Interesting article and #'s. He claims he will take in 762K per year from 375 patients at 400/oz. That averages out to 5oz/patient/year. With a state granted monopoly on the business I would guess that he is low balling the sales to make it look like he is not going to make big $.

Those numbers also include 19 full-time employees. 19 employees for a 10 pound / month operation? Obviously the business plan was tilted to look good for the state -- he's planning on employing lots of people, but putting out little medicine at high prices.
