A lot of people have done full grows under flor. It just may take longer, and your yield is prob gonna be lower.

I'd snoop around at other options online. CFL, T5, LED. You name it, people are trying it. Youtube is a good place to look for different types of grows.

 

Put a little research and thought into it and you'll probably come up with something great.

have been looking, a few ideas looked pretty simple. one had a 6k colman lantern nestled between the three.

You probably don't need 400 but they do make smaller self contained MH & HPS lights. Can be had for under 100.00.

 

I would use HO or t-5 if you go with flouro's.

 

. Flouro's work great for veg but imo can't match hid for flower. I started with them & couldn't get a HPS light fast enough. When I did yields doubled.

 

I would say go with the most light you can afford & maintain environment for.

 

I find myself constantly improveing & adjusting everything. Start with good lighting so you can just worry about the other stuff.

250 HPS inexpensive and very effective for up to 4 plants

 

watt for watt hps cannot be beat and you can run veg-flower no problem

I would go with a 150 watt hps for 2 plants your yeild will be much better then with floros IMO
