Mmma Doctor Needed In Court.

Ummm, a couple things here.

First, the affirmative defense is supposed to be (IMHO) set up before you are in possession of marijuana. You have a doctors slip BEFORE you possess and this lets you do so. It sounds like you want to argue the 2nd provision of the act providing an affirmative defense for medical use. We do not know yet if this is going to be a winning argument.

Second, expert witnesses are really the responsibility of your lawyer and yes, there are many, many doctors who recommend medical marijuana before a court (especially at $400.00 per hour).

Good luck.
