I heard on CNN yesterday during what seems to be their daily almost pro-cannabis reports that; Marijuana is a schedule one narcotic and *cocaine is a schedule two. In essence they believe marijuana is more dangerous than marijuana.

 

*The DEA scheduled cocaine a two because of its recognized medical uses limited as they are these days. Marijuana being a schedule one the DEA says it has no medical benefits and is highly addictive. If the FEDs would release more cannabis to researchers we could easily get it(cannabis)rescheduled.

Not just cocaine but CRACK cocaine is a schedule II drug its number is 9041. Other fun schedule 2 comparisons include Desoxyn, D-desoxyephedrine, ICE, Crank, Speed which are all covered by DEA number 1105 (Methamphetamine). Then you have all the different forms of opium. Depending on the status or form of the LSD it can be either Schedule 1, 2, or 3.
