Going To Setup An Appointment

I'm going to be setting up an appointment with my doctor soon. I may have either Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease. While I'm there I'm going to tell him about my back pain (I think it may be chronic pain). If I have Crohn's Disease and/or chronic pain, I'm going to ask about medical marijuana. If he's not a supporter of it, am I still able to qualify somehow? I truly believe that it would help me, so I want to be a patient. Not only does it take affect almost instantly, it's also safer than pills.

If you have been seeing your dr for a while and have med records stating your condition, chrohns i beleive qualifys you! Im pretty sure colitis does also! chronic pain to!

I guess you need to know what is wrong with you! Im sorry for your pain.

I regret even asking my regular dr.'s about mm, I had to find another dr. to give me a rec, and than my dr.s all quit me! after 12 yrs of methadone an xanax, I all of a sudden had poly-substance abuse problem when urine screened show thc. for 12 yrs I wasnt a drug addict as long as they were writng the scripts, that almost killed me!

I always get my med records from my dr's (family dr and back specialist and therapist) every 6 months and keep them at home(a copy of my records) when ever you lose a dr. make sure you get all records they have on you, they are yours and they have to give them to you!

find an mm friendly dr. once you have a qualifying condition on record! and dont tell your reg dr nothing! Thats my opinion based on personal experience!

Good Luck to You!

Peace

Jager,

I have had Crohn's for 12 + years and find MMJ very helpful. My gastro doctor is old school and very well respected and was hesitant about MMJ. I requested my medical records and went to another doctor. My primary gasto doctor is well aware of my choice and I still go through my normal check-ups with him.

With this condition, I find using MMJ helps me overcome loose of appetite, keep some weight on enjoy life a bit more.

I hope you find the same relief I do from MMJ.
