Looking To Buy Ph Tester

Little late to the game dr, but just had to put my useless two cents in.

Whatever you buy, please invest in calibration fluid.

Many people put money into the tester,

but forget that they do need to check calibration periodically.

If you calibrate at the beginning of each grow, you're on your way.

Peace, and good luck on your purchase.

Thanks 'knottwhole'

Never Too Late ...

I've not bought anything Yet ... :thumbsu:

Thats why i figured i give this post some time ...

and see if anyone comes out of the closet ...

Surely You would think it would be pretty easy ?

But , Apprently Not ?

If someone came to me and ask what is the Best CB on the Market was ,

I could answer that in a heart beat ...

But this surely don't seem to be the case ...

How hard could it be to find a Meter that has a Good Warranty ?

That is 'nt hard to operate ?

and that works Great ?

You surely would'nt think it would be too hard ?

Even if i had to spend a couple hundred bucks ...

Bluelab meters are the best I have found. NZ Technology. Fail Proof ppm meter. Very nice pH meters and combo. Expensive but they are realible and tell the truth when push button calibated. Other meters fail because their probe ions are so little and cheap crap from china or america. Only UK and NZ can get it right. Anyways Blue Lab I think Hydrodynamics handles them and most hydroponic stores carry or can special or them.

I like the Tri-meters. PH - TDS- Temp

I second third and forth this (I have three so I get three votes)

I've been using demo units for about a year. They were given to me used. I have sent 2 of them back to the company for service, and both times they fixed and calibrated them for free. (both times the pH probe was bad, I think due to me cracking it) One of the units had a cracked case when I shipped it, and they replaced that too. for free.

Even growing in dirt, you'll be glad to know your ppms/ It will give you an idea as to what is in your well water and also if you get an RO unit, you can check to make sure you're getting the low ppms.
