anyone tried forbid mite spray. Can you use on flowering plants?

not to be used in greenhouse or on vegetables. I personally wouldn't use it at all but defiantly not in bloom

Forbid is not a direct contact mite killer. It's very systemic though and mites won't mess with treated plants for about 30 days after treatment. I like to use avid 2 times, then floromite 2 times then forbid. Avid and floromite are contact killers and both kill eggs (ovicide). They are both systemic also.

 

Forbid soaks into the plant and mites won't feed on treated plants. They just kind of hang out til it wears off then they come right back. Thats why we use it last. Avid and floromite are extremely effective but you should only use them 2 times in a row then switch to something else. Using any kind of poison on mites more than 2 times makes them become immune.

 

There is NO stand alone product for mites. You need an arsenal at your immediate disposal on hand constantly.

 

Never use miticides on flowering plants.....
