Switching My Lights From Day To Night

I have plants in my flowering room and I would like to switch my lights from day to nights for summer to take advantage of the cooler temperatures. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this

I do it this way, Just turn the timer to what time I need and let them go in dark for 24 hrs and start the next night on the new schedule. Haven't had any problem with herms

I shifted my 12-12 cycle last year for this reason. I used a 24 hour dark cycle one day instead of 12 hours. Plants ended up fine with no hermies or other unhappiness.

Just like athletic tape - do it fast! Perhaps the only rule would be to switch flowering plants by increasing one dark period, and switch vegging plants by increasing one light period, so as to enhance the preferred hormonal profile.
