Calling All Organic Growers, Lil Help

Hey folks,

 

I am looking for a local source of ladybugs, I have been ordering them online and seems silly paying 20 bucks for shipping and 4 bucks for the ladybugs. Is there a local source for these little helpers that I don't know about.

Grow Show in A2 has them--think it was $12/13 for 1500 of the ladybugs

I haven't found a local SE MI ladybug source.

 

Was gonna get some last fall. Had a few mites, but no go on the local ladybugs.

 

When I had a tarantula some years ago, I would give the neighborhood kids spare change for catching crickets & grasshoppers. Might work for ladybugs. Any bug loving kids in your area?
