Mememe
Does anyone know what her job actually entailed? Anything about how well she did/does her job at LARA? Mostly curious is she had anything to do with how long it took to get cards. I wouldn't want to vote for someone who dragged their feet helping the sick and dying. OTOH, if she was one that was actually helping I would be glad to vote for her. Thank you. Voting is Tuesday.

imiubu
I am finding it difficult to get much info on her other than on fb and her campaign site. wiki : http://www.corporationwiki.com/Michigan/Howell/sweet-occasions/70862406.aspx "Margo Heinonen, who is hoping to unseat the incumbent county clerk, believes "there's improvement that can be made in the way" the Livingston County clerk's office is managed." http://www.livingstondaily.com/article/20120723/NEWS01/207230308/Candidates-clerk-s-office-disagree-collections-issue "The "tea party" group endorsed incumbent state Rep. Bill Rogers, R-Genoa Township, for the newly redrawn Michigan 42nd House District. Rogers faces Republican challenger and teacher Dale Rogers on the primary ballot. It endorsed incumbent Livingston County Clerk Margaret Dunleavy over her challenger, Margo Heinonen; " "Livingston County Clerk Margaret Dunleavy received endorsements re-cently from Right to Life, Farm Bureau Insurance and all nine members of the county Board of Commissioners." http://www.livingstondaily.com/article/20120723/NEWS01/207230311/Political-Notebook-County-board-candidates-receive-endorsements A little more on Mike Rogers, from that same article; "Hartland Township-based RetakeOurGov has announced its endorsements for Republican candidates for the Aug. 7 primary. The "tea party" group endorsed incumbent state Rep. Bill Rogers, R-Genoa Township, for the newly redrawn Michigan 42nd House District. Rogers faces Republican challenger and teacher Dale Rogers on the primary ballot." I do not claim to know what the actual responsibilties of the County Clerk is, but it looks like they are the fee collectors. There is this, if it will help : http://law.onecle.com/michigan/50-county-clerks/index.html sounds to me like an incredibly boring job Hope this helps some. I tried but, google is not my friend ! lol
