A haul of weapons in Mexico have been recycled into musical instruments by local artists.

The weapons were seized by police in the city of Ciudad Juarez, where as many as ten people were killed each day, at the height of the region's drug related violence.

The group says the darkness of the weapons' past is not forgotten, as Alpa Patel reports.
