Ppm Pen: Verboten In Soil?

I checked this clone i was gifted and on it's way out. There was 1800 ppm in the run-off.  no wonder a great strain looked so  sad.

I calld my dad and he went,"What?"   At 85 he still gardens berrries and pears on one acre.  he'd never thot of checking runoff.

If you're in soil has checking run-off helped you?

Never have checked it ,, and i do not own a ppm meter... i just make sure anything i add is between 6 and 6.5 ph everything is good

Ive checked the run off of promix hp, it was over 2000ppms straight out of the bag. I put little clones in it all the time with no problems.

So my question is 2000 ppms of what?
