South Haven Mayoral Candidate Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

Recommended Posts

Frank Consolino will be sentenced in November after pleading guilty this week to three charges of marijuana distribution.

He will remain on the ballot in South Haven, and could still be elected mayor. However, if he receives any jail time the day before the election, he won't be eligible to serve. Consolino faces up to 15 years in prison for the felony convictions.

The 25 year old had been running a medical marijuana dispensary in South Haven despite those stores being ruled illegal, even while medical weed is legal.
