Rx Marijuana Advocate Offers Assistance To Council

DAVISON — Jamie Fricke, a medical marijuana caretaker fromLapeer, told the Davison City Council Dec. 9 she is available to answer any questions about medical marijuana facilities.

Fricke, who is with an organization called Americans for Safe Access, said she was specifically available to talk about the new Sweet Relief shop in Davison which is dispensing advice about medical marijuana.

The city is still awaiting the results of an investigation into Sweet Relief by Police Chief Bill Brandon. The business opened in late November and advertises itself as dispensing advice about medical marijuana to its customers.

 

Fricke recently ran as a write-in candidate for the Lapeer City Council, but was not elected.

The council did not comment on her offer, nor did it accept her offer for advice.
