CLARKSTON, WA - A complete set of regulation changes for the medical marijuana industry in Washington may be taking place next year. 

The Washington State Liquor Control Board approved final recommendations that'll go before the legislature. The overhaul is a move that ensures the medical marijuana

 

 

industry doesn't compete with the newly legalized recreational marijuana market. Some regulations include the elimination of collective gardens, creating a mandatory list

 

 

of medical patients and reducing the amount of weed they can purchase. They’ll have to pay some taxes that recreational users have to pay as well.
